From my recital program: [“River Flows in You” was the first piece of music to earn a spot in my “Keep it Forever” binder (where reside all five of this evening’s pieces). Its simplicity belies its depth of emotion, and I have performed this piece in several recitals in the past few years. The piece (which I have arranged very little compared to the other four) is one of my favorites of all time, so I knew I had to play it this evening.]
